Twice a year, Bayreuth businesses open their doors on Sunday for their customers. Shopping fun is guaranteed on those days between 1 PM and 6 PM. Numerous specialties stores and restaurants of Bayreuth, and the 80 stores of the Rotmain shopping center look forward to greeting their customers. The auto spring in April and the traditional St. Martins market in November are a center attraction and entice many visitors to come.
On every second advent Saturday the romantic late night shopping night takes place. On this day the stores are open until 11 PM with a constantly changing entertainment program. Traditionally at the end, one can marvel at the grand fireworks in the middle of the pedestrian zone.
